Hyperpigmentation is a common, usually harmless condition in which patches of skin become darker in color than the normal surrounding skin. This darkening occurs when an excess of melanin, the brown pigment that produces normal skin color, forms deposits in the skin, due to: exposure to the sun, female hormones, Post- inflammatory hyperpigmentation, pollution and free radicals, certain diseases, medication in-take, genetics… It can appear on the whole face and whole body.
The 3 active ingredients of Pluryal Mesoline RADIANCE are working in synergy to fight hyperpigmentation in the whole body, in dark hairy areas and severe hyperpigmentation in the face (and dark circles).
Composition
Tranexamic acid 3%
Tranexamic acid 3% has depigmentation capacity by decreasing tyrosinase activity, which regulates melanin formation in hyperpigmented areas and by deleting melanin hyperproduction. It also works on the reduction of redness (excessive skin vascularity). Glutathione Depigmenting & Lightening agent: Inhibits melanin production. There are Anti-aging effects as it slows down cellular aging (improvement of elasticity and reduction of wrinkles). Stimulates collagen synthesis and prevents collagen from losing its properties and keeps the skin firm.
Glutathione
Depigmenting & Lightening agent: Inhibits melanin production. In addition, the low tyrosinase activity and high level of cysteine promote more phaeomelanin (yellow-orange melanin) and less eumelanin (brown-black melanin) production. Converts melanin to a lighter color by switching from eumelanin to phaeomelanin production (= lighter skin colour).
Anti-aging effect and slows down cellular aging (improvement of elasticity and reduction of wrinkles).
Carnosine
Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory di-peptide. Stimulates collagen synthesis.
Anti-glycation prevents collagen from losing its properties and keeps the skin firm.
