Dr. Ashleigh Vallee received a Bachelor of Science with Distinction and a Master of Arts at the University of Victoria. Her interdiciplinary graduate research in literature and medical history received the prestigious Joseph-Armand Bombardier Graduate Scholarship. She received her Medical Doctorate from the University of Calgary in 2018, where she received both the Bill Whitelaw Award and the Clara Christie Award for her research in the history of medicine. Dr. Vallee completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of British Columbia in 2020. After several years of practice she received the Janus Award from the Foundation for Advancing Family Medicine. Dr. Vallee is passionate about interdisciplinary study and medical education, and she currently works as a Clinical Instructor with the University of British Columbia.
Dr. Vallee pursued a passion for primary care dermatology and skin cancer by completing a Diploma in Practical Dermatology with Distinction from Cardiff University in 2023. She has since completed a Graduate Certificate in Skin Cancer through the University of Queensland, working towards a Masters of Medicine. She has done additional training in cosmetic medicine, including neuromodulators and dermal filler injections. Dr. Vallee is recognized for her artistry, precision, and dedication to skin health and medical aesthetics.
In her free time, Dr. Vallee enjoys reading, writing, and spending time outdoors with her husband and labrador retriever, Sadie.
